The efficiency rating of these vehicles is not stated, however if you divide the range by the kilowatt battery pack it will give you an idea. One vehicle, for instance has a 78 kilowatt battery pack but only about 250 mile range so that is around 3.2 and yet another smaller car got about 190 miles from a 32 kilowatt pack with an efficiency rating of around 6 miles per kw. that's great.

I'm on my 3rd electric vehicle in the UK and wouldn't go back to ICE (internal combustion engine) vehicles again. I love the instant torque and the low running costs. I'm just taking delivery of a Renault Zoe ZE50 which has a 245 mile range. My previous 2 have also been Zoes.
I had lost the enjoyment of driving and have got it back again as one masters regenerative brake, etc.

I don’t know what either of those trivia pieces are but maybe the first is the firsts ever electric motor and the second one is maybe an electromagnet brake for a roller coaster? Those are my guesses, great video.

The 1st electric motor was made by Michael Faraday using a magnet sitting in a liquid mercury bath with a copper wire hanging down just touching the mercury. by connecting the wire and mercury to a battery he got the wire to rotate around the magnet. As for the image in the video it looks to be William Sturgeon's version of the electric motor from the 1820s What I want to know is who invented the 1st DC to AC rotary transformer back during the time when people believed that AC power could not be produced....
