Intermediate Ear Training Exercise #1: Intervals

Показать описание
This intermediate ear training exercise will help you improve your interval recognition making it easier to play by ear, learn new music, and improvise. You'll start by playing a C followed by a random white note without looking. Name the note and then look at your hand to double-check. When you can do 100 in a row without a mistake, move your left hand up to C# and do the same thing. Keep going until you've done this with each root note!

This is amazing, maybe you could put together a comprehensive ear training video together, because at the moment, my struggle is where to really start from. i.e start from trying to recognise keys, or chords, or intervals, or chord progressions, etc. Would love to pick your mind on where is the best place to start from to get a good fundamental understanding

I have tried this exercise before but It needs quite a good ear to begin with. I think that eventually I will get there, for know an app is a better option.
