I watched this video to confirm and finalize my purchase of the Wampler Tumnus Deluxe. I run the JHS Morning Glory V4 into the Wampler Tumnus Deluxe in the clean channel of the Panama Shaman (AC30 clean tone)...but then I have a dirty channel that sounds like modern Orange amps...and idk how to set the combo up so it's not super distorted. Otherwise it's a lot of tap dancing.

My morning glory has a wierd sound like a microphonic howl when gain is boosted like a bad 6l6 tube.

Ok. BRILLIANT- folks- pause the video and try starting with the settings seen here - I have a P90 i play through and this dramatically reduced the noise as well as maintained harmonics and “balls” - I may now prefer this to the classic bluesbreaker/tubescreamer combo - Thank you Josh!!

I still don't understand why the hysteria about the Klon. Plenty of other pedals sound 99.9% the same.

Love the morning glory…but the one pedal I have trouble with order is the TS808. I have a Jekyl and Hyde V1. I had it a long time ago for a Indie Rock Strokes type thing. It sounds good with a boost from the MG, and retains its original sound. But reverse the order and you have pretty much a MG with a mids peak. The order is really difficult for me.

Especially if you have a Germanium Treble Booster, and Germanium Fuzz as well up front. Makes me want to ditch the Jekyl and Hyde possibly, get a Klon and do this…call it a, day and the rest of my board stacks fine!

I’ve recorded A/B with TS808 before and after MG, it’s so tough to figure out what order is better…it feels like I’m missing something, or the TS808 gotta go! My board is similar to Josh in many ways…accept I have a Jekyl and Hyde instead of a Klon.

Hello everyone, sorry if I ask again a question already asked in the past but I can't find a solution.

I own a Fender Deluxe Reverb RI and a KTR.
I love the sound of the drive with Gain at 2.
I would like to stack it with my JHS Morning Glory V4 like in this video but I always find a lot of difference in volume between Klon on and Klon off.

Do you also find this thing or is there something wrong?
Is it normal that the Klon has in general more and more thrust?
My settings are these:

Moning glory (light drive)
G 12
T 11
V 11

KTR (lead drive)
G 2
T 11.30
V 11

REV DELUXE (little breakup)
V 3, 5
T 5
B 5

I could set the volume to 8.30 but it seems to me that the sound is affected, is that correct?
