I’ve watched this exact performance like what, a billion times at least and I love every single note of it every time!!! To me, this man IS Opera. He IS the reason my heart flies when I listen to any composition regardless if he’s singing it or not because the reason I’m listening in the first place is because HE introduced me and taught me to be still and feel the music, feel the passion, run with joy and with sadness and to leap never caring if I touch the ground!!! He IS the Maestro of Maestros to me and will forever be…. for the whole of my eternity.

My Mother loved them all. I remember watching this PBS special The Three Tenors as a kid. Never forgot this song or performance. It was my first time hearing Nessum Dorma.
