What’s Inside my Meter Box? Origin of the Electrical Supply #electrical

This video links to my videos on Earthing arrangements as we look at what’s inside a UK meter box. We see the cutout fuse and the cable feeding it from the road, 80 amp fuse the kilowatt hour meter (smart meter) the tails feeding the meter, the consumer unit and the Earthing arrangement.

Why are cables going in the meter a bit curved ? In our country they make a loop or coil like before feeding to the box
