wonderd if they could have just walked/balanced along the metal support that was holding the glass panels instead of jumping into certain death?

When i saw this game and i saw how he knew wich glass to step on it reminded me of when my dad took me and my brother to work growing up. Since he worked in construction I could see sun light reflect on regular glass and temperd kind and see the difference between two a little. He said if you pay close enough attention you can tell the difference. Like how you can tell if wood's good by the way it sounds or breaks

The marble at the end should’ve been bounced on the platform he was standing on and then any of the next platforms to compare.

From the very start the rules have always been bendable. Even though they need go in order according to the vest during the instructions they specifically mention that the glass can support 𝟐 people it also mentioned that they take off their shoes but they never say anything about carrying them in case they had to use them to throw. Had all 16 of them grouped up and agreed that the glass expert should stand in the front glass and check which glass is real and which isn’t. They jump in order across. Ultimately greed and fear clouded their thinking.

They put out the lights to prevent the glass worker from having an advantage, and y'all think they'd allow you crawl on the rails?

I've noticed in the game that there's a *pattern*:

L, R, R, R, R, L, R, R, R, L, R, R, L, R, L.
First left then go right 4 times and left again then go right 3 times, left again go right 2 times, left again the go right for last time. Lmao i guessed the tempered glass right at the game i think I'll only survive this round 😄

The rule is you have to step on the glass to find which one is tempered or not. So, if you played hop-scotch, you would know that you only need 1 foot on each panel. Yeah you may slip but you have a better chance at surviving then taking a chance on stepping on 1 glass at a time.

Also, technically there is enough room to only step on the glass that is attached to the metal frame. You are still stepping on glass, but you will have something underneath to catch you.

Also, in hopscotch, wouldn't you throw a sandbag or a SHOE! on the space you want to travel to?

I work in glass manufacturing. I will say the edge is done before it gets tempered. We use machines we just call edgers that grind the edge down with diamond wheels and sometimes polish it.

This has to be done before tempering. Glass that is cut from a sheet has a sharp edge and it will explode during tempering if it’s not rounded off or smoothed down.

Honestly the best strategy is to get the majority of the people to vote to end the game.

Players 1-9 have very little chance of making it through.

One guy knew the math of guessing every glass right, he could have convinced the remaining majority of players that the risk is not worth it.

This would
1. Let everyone who has a serious chance of dying, survive.
2. Possibly tease out someone who knows a trick (glass manufacturer).

The only risk is that since the VIPs are such sick fucks, evident when they turned off the lights on the Glass Manufacturer, they might have ignored the rules and forced everyone to play anyway, but at least that will fuck with their sense of fairness, and it might be a rule too far for the Front Man to bear to break.

If one is not allowed to crawl on the two metal railings, another solution is to inch worm through, with two hands going forward, one on each glass pane, followed by feet. Since the weak glass panes could support weight of half a person, having one’s weight distributed on both side-by-side glass panes might be doable?

If you could reach over to feel the edge of the glass, why not try to smash it? The normal glass would break or crack at least. Or if Sang-woo had thrown the marble (being the strongest contestant remaining) at one of the glass panes and it did or didn't crack, that might have been an indicator?

I can imagine its not the glass but the jumps would be the cause of my death lmao once you lost balanced, thats it.

First the I noticed was the smooth edges lol.. and also the host broke there own rule of fairness when they tempered with the game and turned of the light

It looked like you could just walk between the panels staying on the red railing. It'd take some balance but it definitely looked feasible.

An annealed piece of glass can have polished edges and a tempered piece doesn’t have to have the polished edge. It’s all cosmetic and doesn’t become an indication of it being either. Coming from a glazier it’s incredibly hard to notice the lighting difference. I usually test it by trying to scribe the glass with my cutter and if it doesn’t scribe it’s tempered, though that doesn’t help you in this situation. IMHO going by noise would be the best if you have the ear for it or roll the dice I guess

I think the mentioning of the tempered glass' resistance to two people's weights implies that there should be a bit of teamwork in this game too.
One slightly heavy person slowly places one foot on the glass in their lane while another person hold onto them firmly. The person then increases their force on the glass very slowly and any indication of the glass cracking can be seen and the person can safely move to the other glass sheet.

i say just use the shoes they had to take off

put shoe at the start in sleeve from the T-shirt hit the glass with the shoe in the T-shirt if not walk on the metal

How about each player takes off their jumper and wrap it around player one like a rope. If he falls they can reel him back in and repeat the process. If this is not allowed then I would be strategic about my jump and land on all fours. Ie. Both my feet and hands like a frog. That way my body weight would be distributed by four near each corner of the glass instead of one heap of weight in one spot that's sure to break it. Frog leaping across would give you a better chance at not breaking the regular glass.
