When you're just too hot that life has lost meaning.

"Fill my cup, put some liquor in it" has a really different connotation here

"Sir! What-what happened to him?"
"Uptown funk...gave it to him"

Wow. This suddenly became a song about a man warning a younger person that the party life can lead to excessive drinking and depression.

A song about a man who chose a hard and fast life of liquor, women, and luxury, leaving behind his one true love to live the good life, and regretted it ever since. No women he ever had could replace the hole in his heart.

Pumped up Kicks but the tone actually fits the lyrics.

That or Semi Charmed Life: Withdrawal

Detective Funk sat in his derelict apartment, abandoned, beaten and forsaken. Linda wasn't coming back. He saw his gun hanging off Linda's dresser and it called to him hypnotically. But a lone sparkle caught his eye from the periphery. birthed by the first light of dawn.
His rhinestones, bell bottomed suit called to him and he knew what he needed to do.

Summertime sadness (way too happy cover)

The sad tone kind makes it sound like its the same song sung by the same person at two stages of life.
1. (Original Version) The person is fully enjoying life, probably going into a life of party, sex and drugs (bright colors all over the place - watch the video).
2. (This version) The person has arrived like 5 years later, party life is over, no more money, fake friends are gone, involuntary cold turkey is happening, binging on alcohol, because the coke is too expensive. The person is desperately hanging on to the former lifestyle, but kind of learning that he can not keep living this life, because it will destroy itself. Emphasized by the by the long outdrawn "Uptown Funk" a desperate cry for happier times rings out over the shore the person is reminiscing on, realizing that the colors have not changed into, ... but always have been a deep gray.

Great work on the perspective switch guys. I just love the masterful reinterpretation.

"I'm so pretty I want to kiss myself" in funeral voice tone is Narcissus material™

I'm just impressed how he's keeping a straight face while singing the lyrics in this style. I would die of laughter like on every single take..😂

I did not know I needed this generation's "Nothing Else Matters" but here it is.

That guitar solo...tears.

This sounds like it's about the aftermath of too much partying.

My late husband was a professional guitar player, and every single time I see one of your videos, it just tears my heart out that he died without knowing about you. He would be completely blown away by your musicianship, your creativity, your astounding upside-down and inside-out perspectives... It makes me cry. --but it also just makes me love you more. 💚🤎💜

You should do an "elegant" or "beautiful" cover of Cannibal Corpse. Not necessarily happy or sad, just "classy". Love your videos bro!

Discovered your channel a week ago and I'm loving it!
Here are some ideas:
-Happy Birthday (Way too sad cover)
-Happy - Pharrell Williams (Way too sad cover) EDIT: 4 months later they did it!
-Final Countdown (Lullaby cover)
-Eye of the tiger (Frightened Cover)
