My new Model 3 Long Range was set in Chill and I drove "fast" with my wife. When I took a friend, I set it in Standard and his head hit the backrest and yalled. Yes, it IS that fast.

I managed 4.2 very consistently. its worth mentioning that the speedometer is 100% accurate.
by the way, top speed is 234kmh or 145mph

My best run was 4.18s 0-60mph and 3.66s with the acceleration boost (measured with dragy)

Nothing best describes the feeling of acceleration in this car better than a strained sounding "ughh golly", closely folllowed by the g force knocking the phone out of your hand.

Chill mode is exactly same as 40kwh leaf. Shows the difference

i test drove one and remeber hiting 90 in like 4 seconds and it felt like my head was right next to a cell phone tower

If there was any kind of elevation increase during the test that would make the results noticeably worse. If he purchased the Acceleration Boost for $2000, and then asked Dave to step out of the car before the run, results would have been so much better.

I found when I used a DRAGY it increased my 0 to 60 time by .1 seconds when I had a passenger onboard and a couple of times it was a full .2 seconds. That was with my MY LR AWD.

Acceleration booster is 100% worth it, I get 0-60 in 3.6.

In the first run in STANDARD mode, the .1 second difference could be attributed to EV Dave startling the driver when Dave screamed out as he lost his phone. I found the situation funny, at first, until I remembered how my wife's screams have made me adjust my driving (slowing down) until I could find out what all the screaming was about.

It seems like chill mode in the pre-2021 model is considerably slower than the refresh. My LR (2021) doesn't feel that slow in chill mode. I'll have to find somewhere to do timed runs

Draggy is clearly bugged out or somethin wrong wth tht Tesla. My 2022 long range gets 3.5 seconds in sport mode
