Voting expert explains the keys to driving turnout for 2020

Voter turnout for the 2020 election is on track to make history, according to the U.S. Elections Project and Non-Profit Vote. Michael McDonald, the founder and director of U.S. Elections Project, joins "Red and Blue" to discuss the latest voter trends.

Our country needs broad electoral reform, including what Mr. McDonald brought up like automatic voter registration, same day registration, nonpartisan redistricting and I'd add no private money in politics, get rid of lobbyists and ranked choice voting.

Some of those keeping track of trends are predicting that the electoral college will vote against the majority vote/vote of the people in 2020. Voters need to state their intentions to vote out and replace all possible incumbents with this plan - to disrupt or prevent this deliberate defiance of the will of the people - and commit to doing just that in 2020 and beyond.
