An explanation of the error code 1202 that occurred during the Apollo 11 descent to the lunar surface. With great teamwork, the issue was rapidly resolved. But what was it? Also a few unknowns to include the woman behind writing the code and where you can now find a copy of the Apollo Guidance Computer programming source programming code. The code written in Assembler Language has some great hidden comments.

Happy 50th Anniversary to the Apollo 11 Mission!!

How did Lt.Col Collins in the Command Module know the Rendezvous Radar on the Lunar Module was causing the 1202 Program Alarm? This was during the Apollo 11 Landing Sequence? This is the first time I have heard this. Aldrin knew the cause of the 1202 Program Alarm before Touchdown of the Eagle Lunar Lander? 😳

Have you really analyzed the code of the AGC? I have, and I have found that it was making no sense.

I am not sure what sources you used to do all this research. Margaret Hamilton "lead the team to write the AGC code" in about as much capacity as someone spitting on the ground and calling it weight loss. She was put in charge of COLUSSUS, by her boyfriend, way after most of the code was written for the AGC. Which, by the way, doesnt even have anything to do with LUMINARY, the module infamous for 1202. Your odd attempt to overemphasize the word "woman" along with a strange choice to single her out as a contributor compared to hundreds of other individuals who were much more relevent in their contributions really puts into question what the whole purpose of that bit was and made it seem quite distasteful if im being honest.

The code of the AGC can absolutely not be used.
