HJC should have released the different colored shields with its launch, like they did in Korea. I've been searching all over for a dark smoke shield with no avail. Anyone know when it will be released???
Shield is HJ-41 btw.

I wish HJC wouldn't do this. A lot of US stores have pictures of the euro\asian model with ece and the exhaust vents, but if you order I don't know if you'll really get it or the messed up US model. I kinda want to take a shot, but jeez.

the big question is why is there so few CE22.06 helmets when we are half way through 2023 and thats the standard for 2024.

We have ECE22.06 in Malaysia. Just wondering why DOT for US. I guess it got to do with the local HJC Distributor not submitting for one ?

Your US version is super spartan in comparison with EU model. We have exhaust vent and ECE 22.06 safety rating.

really nice but just doesn't meet my needs. i always use a sunshade visor. and since this one doesnt come with a drop down visor, its a no for me.

Just DOT no way for that price, my old HJC is snell and I found it on sale for about 100 bucks granted it almost 8-10 years old and probably should be retired but it sits in a closet as a backup

The metal accents make the DOT only rating worth the INSANE price IMO.

This helmet did not go through an air tunnel. Result is when you ride with an open visor, even at slow speeds, the visor makes a whistling sound which only gets worse if you accelerate. Such a shame.

Couple things; the helmet IS ECE 2206 approved. Not sure why HJC doesn’t push that more but the helmet in Canada is absolutely ECE approved and I can’t assume they degrade the safety of the shell just for the American market. Second, I have a 23 1/2 inch head and it’s SUPER tight on the temples. I think you’re good if you’re a medium but traditional large I had to size up to XL but then it has too much play. Shame as the Bullit also doesn’t have a secure fit for my head so I’m struggling with the classic styles
