Organizing For Political Power

In the month leading to the March 2024 primary, we engaged in our first canvassing operation in coordination with the Essie Justice Group and the California Black Power Network. Our goal was to talk directly with our communities about the closure of men's central jail and to test their resonance around building alternatives to incarceration. This is that story.
