Plot summary
It tells the story of three generations of the Diaz family returning to their home in Donghe Town to attend the funeral. Lydia said that when she was young, she was harassed by the Great Mage of the Underworld and was constantly forced to marry him. When Lydia's daughter Astrid discovers a mysterious town model in the attic and accidentally opens the entrance to the underworld, her life is turned upside down. Despite her mother's dissuasion, Asucui reawakened the Great Mage of the Underworld

My favorite thing about this movie is the return of those great gags from the first, but with the new editing they’re brought up a notch. Plus you can really tell they had a lot of fun making the film

The character of Delores didn’t need to be in the movie. I thought there was to be more scenes where Beetlejuise and Delores fought. And when she burst through the door in the end I was shocked how anticlimactic the scene ended up being. So if there wasn’t to be a big fight between those two, why was she in the movie? The same goes for the police chief character. Bettlejuice just stopped them right away and that was it.
He also defeated the ghost who took the daughter way too quickly. The whole thing went way too smoothly. It seemed like the makers of this movie just rushed a quick script and made the movie as fast as they could to make fast money. They didn’t care about doing a good plot at all. I was really looking forwards to a great sequel but in the end I just felt cheated. I give it a 3 out of 10.
