Hi, I just wanted to let you know that this video saved my life. I'm in theatre rehearsal right now and I'm stage managing for a show. We have to put grommets on some fabric and I had no idea how to do it. Me and my fellow company members watched 10 other videos, reread instructions a million times and cried. I’m about to set the eyelets on eleven knife sheaths and I see you are using a rawhide mallet and I just happen to have one from high school, nice video and thanks. I was setting the eyelets with a hammer and they started splitting but I think the mallet is the answer

Exactly the info I was looking for ! I bought some awhile back and just opened them now and was wondering why there was no 2nd piece (washer pieces). I bought them from a leather store so now I know they are eyelets (one piece)for leather ! I’ll need to get grommets (2 piece) for thin material ! Thanks for info !
