Two scenes from this movie will forever live in my memory ..

Matthew MacFadyen as Mr Darcy striding across that field in the cold misty fog .. in his open throated night shirt and great coat .. trying gamely to follow the red puffy coat that he .. being severely short-sighted .. could barely see .. yet his beautiful eyes and expressive face ., his determined strong and sturdy motion .. show his love fueled resilience to reach his love to be sure she is all right .. at that point unsure if she would accept him .. he did that March for her .. confess I cried throughout that entire scene .. so grateful they did not cut any of it .. this was Matthew MacFadyen's shining moment .. and he nailed it! So beyond beautiful to see .. and so beyond beautiful .. was he❣

Second scene was the exquisite sunrise scene .. the part where Kiera as Elizabeth tells Mr Darcy his hands are cold .. and Matthew does that endearing little head nod ., and then she kisses his beautiful strong yet gentle hand .. and they touch foreheads as the sun rises behind them .. the most romantic and achingly beautiful scene ever filmed in my opinion .. and again I cried because my heart was bursting with joy for them .. the dopamine was flowing everywhere ..

Pride and Prejudice.. the book .. Will always end this way for me .. and we have the amazing chemistry elicited by two truly beautiful actors .. Matthew MacFadyen and Kiera Knightley .. plus the sublime director Joe Wright .. to thank for this .. awesome and totally unforgettable movie experience❣

Great film. I have both his and his wife's movies. Loved her series "Wives and Daughters" based on Elizabeth Gaskell's book and his series "Little Dorrit" based on Charles Dicken's book. Both brilliant performances.
