The triangle one feels easier to do if you're looking at the triangle as a whole and not moving your eyes from point to point.

Yeah, I found it hard to look into one single eye. We generally think that we will see both the eyes but in reality our eyes focus on one eye only and then it becomes awkward and uneasy. So if we change our focus time to time, it will not be so intimidating.
