Great tip, Pete. Not only for this GarageBand issue, I can recommend anyone power off than power on their iOS device at least one time a week. Better for the battery, storage and it keeps your device fast (because with a hard reset you clear out most of the unnecessary cache).

I’ve been playing with the loops that are in the app and when i go to record it would only record half the loop of certain instruments each time... any ideas on why?
