I found was grossly undereducated men who called themselves “preachers” or “pastors” who were chiefly interested in:
1. Making money
2. Gaining popularity
3. Spreading a false gospel

It was quite obvious to me they had very little Biblical knowledge.

MacArthur, on the other hand, has a vast knowledge of the Bible and goes to great pains to explain it so articulately. I can honestly say that he changed the direction of my life. I am forever grateful to find such a wonderful teacher. Therefore, I’ve created this YouTube channel in order to propagate his accurate and thorough Biblical teachings.

Being one in Christ is not easy, He never said it would be. This is probably one of the most heartbreaking instances of that truth but this is why scripture indicates quite clearly that we may have to turn away from our family in our Faith. It is quite clear that we are to put nothing Earthly in front of our relationship with Christ Jesus. To bully your mother in such a selfish controlling type of fashion is an absolute Abomination to the Lord and a stark reflection of the great Falling Away spoke of in the book of Timothy. The most important aspect of this instance is to keep those fallen family members in prayer. Since my having been born again, I've had to turn away from many loved ones, fortunately my Son has not been one of them.
My heart goes out to this woman, I Can Only Imagine how broken hearted she must feel.

I understand the mom to a point but what Pastor says, is true. My family all know, I LOVE JESUS, SO I WILL SPEAK OF HIS NAME. I don't shove it in their faces but His name comes up then He comes up. I tell all of them. You know. I am a Christian and i will Not be ashamed of His name. My son scarcely speaks to me. His choice. God is working on him. I text him, tell him i love him but if he chooses to shut me out.... Just pray for their Salvation. Don't give up. I too was once a prodigal. My parents never stopped praying and believing. I was 38 when i finally became saved. Hallelujah!!!! Let them see Christ in you. Singing, praising God and reading and standing on the Word. Live it before them. So, one day they will see the works of God in you and repent and Glorify God. God bless you

This is most of my family on both sides. We were once Christ centered...no longer. The majority of them are in rejection of Him now. My own 3 adult children can no longer handle us because of Christ in our lives. We haven't seen them in years...so sad but we will not falter from Christ and His ways just because they are "uncomfortable" in His presence. We petition God for mercy on them every day.

That poor women is so broken down by her children, what a terrible thing to do to your own mother. Truly it is the purest form of love for her to deny her children their request and stand with her father in Christ.

If your child is overweight you show them harsh love and help them get healthy. If your child is skipping school you show them harsh love and discipline them. Love is not just kindness, love is also the willingness to do the hard things and make the hard choices for you know it is better for them even if they don't want to listen.

True Christians can't be in a serious relationship with those who are hostile to Christ and His gospel, the sons-in-law must be nominal Christians only. Jesus had prophesied that mother would be against daughter and daughter against mother etc. When God saves one family member but not the others, the saved one either stays and suffers or has to leave the family.

That is right! The Lord says that we, His people, are light, we cannot turn the light off when we go into darkness. Darkness is the absence of light. They lose, not the Lord's people.
