How to Bleed the E-Diff on a Ferrari F430

Показать описание
Bleeding the E-Diff on a Ferrari F430 requires a specialized computer but it's otherwise a pretty simple procedure. This can help remove air from the system and flush out any contaminates. Our Ferrari F430 was having a code C2017 - Pressure deviation control too high. The initial bleed did not seem to fix the issue so there may be some debris stuck in the e-diff solenoid.

Hi Dan, a bit pedantic but use the closed end of the wrench on the bleed nipple. Put it on before the pipe. Leave it sitting there whilst you bleed it. Also you won’t round off the hexagon on the nipple. Preferably use a six sided wrench. Same on the brakes. Save you a world of potential misery.👍👍

Love the information and content Dan. When you restart the fluid back into the reservoir I'd recommend some sort of filter to catch any debris. You guys are sharp at what you do and probably did but just wanted to reiterate for those reading the comments working on their own cars. ❤

hi dan 😀 I have a question ; when I purge the F1 system, do I have to shift gears afterwards or does the LAUNCH PRO V3 X-431 (the same as yours) that I have; do the whole procedure and wait for it to say "procedure complete" and then I can drive?

Hello Dan, I'm a long-time subscriber. I just purchased a 1999 355 F1. Would the launch x431 work on it? currently looking for an affordable tool. Also Thank you for all the videos.

Thanks Dan great videos. I have a 2003 Ferrari 360 looking for a scan tool to read clutch wear and PIS setting. Launch 431 pro mini does but now not available, any suggestions. Thank you.

I absolutely despise intermittent problems. Hope it's just a random air bubble that needs to be worked out.

It could have been air in the pump causing it to act like that first time.

your hooking it up wrong, you need to have one line on bleeder and the other line in the F1 reservoir tank and the key on don't need to be running the scanner will by cyles every 30 sec.
