That kid's performance would have been amazing as a first timer even if he were 30, let alone for a 9-yr-old. No nerves, and all that is needed from a baseball announcer. Be on the lookout for his name 20 years from now.

I was by the game. What a game. Amazing that he may have missed home plate on home run to end game, though heads up for players to call him back. He was so pumped running around the bases. Go Mets.

I've always liked the Kidcaster inning. It's great PR for the Mets, it encourages young fans, and who knows - maybe one of these youngsters will be on the air broadcasting Mets games in another 15 years or so. Good job, Kingston! And good job, Alvy, to walk it off against a very good Orioles team! LGM!!!!

That was never a balk. Bad call. The home plate umpire was making bad calls all night on balls/strikes.
