Duran has solidified himself, he’s a freaking stud. Boston don’t let him go!

Watching this 9th inning of the Yankees and Tigers, and it really makes you feel good and comfortable as an Orioles fan watching Clay Holmes. The fact that the Yankees are sticking with this guy in the 9th is going to be their downfall. They just blew the save, but before that happened I was going to say that the Yankees are literally trying to blow this game, but the Tigers are just so bad they won’t come through after watching the strikeout and second out of the inning. Holmes was throwing nothing but sliders and curveballs that were hanging up in the zone, but the Tigers hitter, Torkelson or whatever, refused to stay back and go with the pitch and instead was trying to hit a game winning two run homer. Despite the fact that the they were giving him everything you could hope for to punch a bloop single into right field. Then the next guy up, did exactly that and drove a line drive single to left field to tie the game. Kept throwing him breaking balls away, he stayed back, stayed through the baseball with his swing, went with the pitch and smoked a line drive to left to tie the game. The Yankees keep sending this dude out there down the stretch and in October, they’re going to have an early exit for sure bc he’s going to turn 1 run wins into multi-run losses.

I’m a lifelong Red Sox fan in town for work and went to this game, Camden Yards is a great place with mostly great fans. It was a very good game. The defense and starters were great. The Red Sox got a couple of clutch hits that the Orioles failed to get, and that was the difference. It’s always a crapshoot from this point on. Let’s hope someone beats the Yankees.

The rivalry between the Red Sox and the Orioles is almost always so entertaining no matter which team you root for

As a yankee fan I’d never thought I’d be so happy to see a Devers home run

Cade Povich showed who he can be at this level.

My buds and I would go to Seattle each year to watch Boston win; which they usually did...
After one winning game we decided to get tattoos ; I got a Red Sox 'B' with flames... Yes we were drinking but now a committed Red Sox fan for life haha.

Cade Povich was absolutely fantastic. The bullpen & offense couldn't back him up, though.

As a long time Os fan I’m hard pressed to stay excited given the state of our pitching. Major injuries to front line starters plus with only a few bullpen arms that I consider trusted this season is slowly becoming suspect. Sorry just stating the obvious

The pitch Devers hit out…..you shouldn’t be able to do that….pretty impressive. Great game. Good game by Povich too. JOMBOY gotta look at that pitch

Adley was close to winning us this game man. They didn’t show it on here but it was bases loaded and Adley hit it right to the warning track 😭😭😭

If the Sox pitching can do this every game they’d win the world series😂
