Want to make a correction to this video as a computer engineering graduate. Apple cannot grant the iPhone 15 USB 3.0 speeds with a software update. This is controlled by the USB controller and firmware on the SoC (processing chips). It is a physical limitation in data transfer bandwidth and the ability for the processor architecture to keep up with the speeds. Any phone with an A16 Bionic won't be able to get USB 3.0 speeds unless apple updates the SoC. Great video tho!

agree. coming from an X, which is no longer supported by ios 17 and an abyssmal battery life, i've never considered buying a flagship phone before until the 15. I bought my phone around 2weeks ago and i think it's a great purchase. i think the iphone 15 with the great camera, awesome speakers, dynamic island, usb c port, and a16 chip is enough future proofing for the next 5years compared to the regular or the pros before it. worth my buck! 😁

I just upgraded from an iPhone 11 Pro, after watching your video, this evening on 25 September, I just ordered an iPhone 15. My battery life of my old phone is 89%, so I have a thought about an update since the release of iPhone 15 on 9-22 and could not decide regular or pro. I your appreciated your analysis very much. I am 76 and now just need a good phone and not all the camera features that I thought I needed. I just do snapshots these days, since I don't travel as much. I saved a great deal of money. Promotion is the only dealbreaker for me. Most of the android phones releasing their models with 120 hz with a noticable lower price than iphones. It really sucks to pay a mobile phone 800 dollars and not have this feature. At least they could have upgraded the base models to 90 Hz.

I wish there was 90Hz refresh rate in the screen, but I still think it was worth replacing my old 12 mini with an iPhone 15 :D

I would get the 15 pro IF only it was mini and if it was made out of titanium materials for an even lighter phone. Yes how a product looks and feels matter a lot to me.

In case you don't know, the 48MP on iPhone 15 is not the same 48MP on iPhone 14 Pro & 15 Pro...

The 48MP sensor isn't "taken straight from the 14 Pro". It is a different sensor. Take a look at the specs. Off the top of my head, the effective pixel size on the 15's sensor is 2 microns and the 14 Pro's was 2.44 microns i.e. the 15's sensor is smaller.
