You guys took the lady who was addicted to pasta seriously but made fun of something as serious as PMDD? This is NOT funny.

This is real. I don’t appreciate the male doctors skepticism.

Glad the men think this is funny. The mood swings and pain are things men will never understand.

The fact that these doctors are making light of this SERIOUS condition is exactly why so many women suffer in silence or feel like they're "crazy". This is NO laughing matter. So disheartening.

This is disgusting. How can someone call themselves a "doctor" while making jokes about a disorder that ruins lives and causes people to commit suicide? I am the husband of a wonderful woman who was recently diagnosed with PMDD and I can tell you it is not a joke. This segment is irresponsible and insensitive. This is not just about women being emotional around their cycle and will not be fixed by putting people in the "psych ward". They did not touch on the physical aspects of this disorder. I have been watching this disorder ravage my wife for years and it gets worse with time. Leading up to her period she has flu-like symptoms. She has severe joint pain. She has swelling and fluid retention. She is fatigued and lethargic. She is confused and can't focus her thoughts. There is increased sensitivity to light, sound, and touch. There are rashes. These are just a few of the PHYSICAL symptoms I witness caused by this disorder. Along with the physical come the emotional and psychological symptoms. I watch this every month. I watch my wife, a loving, generous, intelligent, compassionate, creative woman and great mother and educator, become someone totally different and unrecognizable. There is depression and feelings of hopelessness. There is paranoia and feelings of betrayal, that everyone is against her or out to get her in some way. There is rage and feelings of "I must hurt them before they hurt me". There are thoughts of suicide. There are things said that are not meant, but are extremely hurtful. Then the darkness subsides and the guilt comes. The guilt of hurting people without being able to control it. The thoughts of how could I do this to the people I love.

These woman are PEOPLE with a disorder. They can do nothing to prevent having the disorder. It causes havoc in people's lives and you fucking jerks who call yourselves "The Doctors" would rather make jokes than do your fucking jobs and research something before you comment on it are the real joke here.

Extremely proud of all those standing up and voicing informed opinions about the incredibly misogynistic mockery on full display in this piece.

PMDD is no joke. I suffer from this every month. It causes depression, anxiety, rage, paranoia, the list goes on. How dare you mock us.

PMDD is no joke. I was diagnosed a few years ago. This segment is just awful.

This is absolutely disgusting. Toxic masculinity all over it. These men are trivialising a very serious condition. This is something that is very real and very horrible to deal with. Did you take the oath of "do no harm" you just made a blanket generalisation that women with pmdd or pme are evil or bad and just want the excuse. You are wrong and your show has just massively gone down in respect.

Try living with it, not funny at all. It is debilitating and scary. This is exactly how some doctors treat you when you go for help

This upset me so much, I think it’s awful how they completely dismissed something that effects some women so badly, and I can only image how infuriating it would be to watch such toxic masculine ideas and comments made if you suffered from PMDD. We should all just be looking out for each other :( <3

These are men that did zero research into the topic before the show. The woman in the middle has the facts, but no platform for presenting them over the two men going strong on belittling the condition.
My wife suffers from PMDD and it is *not* a joke. Shame on these doctors, this show, and the producers for not recognizing the seriousness of the condition. Junk food TV at its very worst.

Men will always take this as a joke.... Ive had suicidal thoughts every month. Severe cramps where I've wanted to go to the hospital and have to fight the pain until i pass out. I'll feel disgusting and sore and run down and miss out on social and job opportunities. Ive lost jobs for having to leave work because the first day I get mine I'm always in such severe physical pain and mentally i just truly don't care about anything.. I also get it for 7 days straight and can pms up to two weeks im advance. I'm never mean to those i love i give my heart and my all but I've suffered since i was ten years old. It's the worst.

Why are we having men talk about something they don’t experience or understand? And making fun of this?

So fucking disappointed in this as a woman who suffers from PMDD. This is a joke and proof of what a joke women’s health is in this country.

I don't know why everyone thinks this is so funny. The women in the audience clapping and cheering is shocking to me

I deal with this every month my mouth gets really disrespectful...I get really angry n lash out at my bf

Trifling is an understatement.  I know of a sister that committed suicide this year from PMDD.  If these doctors have no understanding of the issue, they need to shut up! An apology is in order. Blaming the victims that suffer from this every month...

It's scary to not be able to control your emotions. I've felt this before. This show is actually annoying.

The reason she felt more anger toward her husband is because men will argue with the irrational women who has made it clear that it's "hell week". If you fight back with someone during pmdd then that's on you. But don't be surprised when she wants to fight. There is nothing more frightening then the feeling of having NO CONTROL over what you say and feel.
Get your information straight.
