i think it is important to keep in mind whenever you watch dance moms that you can not juge people on what they say on the show because 99% of the time the prouduceres where either telling them what to say or doing some major editing

Watching this video, Abby has changed herself a bit. Shes way nicer and I feel like she was just very rude back in the day dance moms was going on. But her mom did die, and her dog did so she has lost everyone in her family.

Abby Lee Miller saying they should’ve ignored a comment made by a child that was presumably about suicidal ideation makes perfect sense for her. Suicididal, homicidal, and other injurious comments need to be taken seriously. Always. Having a professional assess the situation and assure that everyone is safe is important.

I never watched Dance Moms but I follow many of the girls, mostly by accident because after following one, the algo kept throwing the rest of them at me.

It was such a sad show. I guess that people like to see people who are more miserable than themselves, so it was popular.

I look at it now, and I see so many incredibly talented young women and their very caring mothers. Even Abby cared for her students.

I don't know about the beefs, but I do know that all of them were manufactured. In this video I see Elliana and Lilliana and I love them both and I love both of their moms and I think that it's very sad that they aren't friends because of some TV show. I am so happy to have grown up without television and I don't miss it at all.

I am happy to see Elliana and Abby together as mentor and student, after years of being apart and finally reconciling that Abby wanted the best for all of her girls despite what the television attempted to portray. I do wonder about Abby's prediction for Elliana having a network TV show only because I think that Elliana is more suited to a less regimented structure. Elliana is extremely talented and intelligent and her fashion sense is world class. But she is a bit introverted and I can't imagine her working within strict guidelines as would be expected by network TV when she could easily be just as successful as a blogger, fashion reviewer and food reviewer (I love her restaurant reviews, as sparse as they are) on her own schedule with her own channel. Remember, Elliana is still only 17 years old! Her past fame is helpful, but her personality and drive coupled with her fashion and gourmet sensibilities are certainly enough to earn her a very comfortable living for the rest of her life on their own.

I disagree with Abby's statement about how Elliana's comment shouldn't have been taken seriously. It is very rude and insensitive of her to discredit how she was feeling instead of being concerned about why a child would think that. You can see how emotionally mature and sympathetic Elliana is, whereas Abby (being triple her age) still hasn't gained that sense of maturity and humility. Love you Elli! You've been through a lot but you're still kind <333

01:50 How frustrating it must have been to have space to work with other studios, having Abby approving of the dancers going with another staff member to work on dance and the producers are like "No, don't so the moms get angry." So, adding extra anxiety and stress for all the kids and leaving them less prepared and comfortable with routines, etc. Space to practice is sometimes so precious for any performing artist.
