I will never get tired of Geoff's ability to make a woman's jaw drop to the floor XD

Coach: I love low voices. That's my very, very weak spot.

Geoff: And I took that personally.

He's a member of voiceplay . He headlines oogie boogie, also my mother told me is a must.

That low bass voice is his natural voice, thats why it is so clear. It stuns me when he goes higher out of his natural voice range. Dear lord i love his range.

He really didn't hit or use some of his even lower bass notes. If you want to hear his range all the way listen to him singing his beatles cover of "Blackbird". He sings with a group also...Voiceplay, they are an a capella group. The Grinch song is good for the holidays as well as Nightmare before Christmas songs. Also, The headless Horseman. If I didn't already say it all the voice harmonies are him singing. He is an expert with his layering for the harmonies. Enjoy.

He shows off his low and high range in high and dry, and blackbird

Geoff’s videos should come with a warning “Side effects may include eye strain due to eye widening (really, that’s the only reason cough*tanktop*cough) and bruised chin from jaw dropping.”

Voice play Oogie boogie song has him on lead too and it’s ridiculous

yes Geoff did all the singing in that song.. he has a 5+ octave range ... his cover of Blackbird shows his range well. He is also a member of Voiceplay and there cover of "Oogie Boogie Song" (nightmare before Christmas) shows his range as well.

This is by far the greatest reaction I’ve seen to Geoff Castellucci’s voice in a while. Love it! 🤣

In Voiceplay he sang the role of Ursula in the Little Mermaid medley. He was even painted blue! The recommendations below are excellent for his solo work.

My mom fell in love with my dad the moment she heard his voice booming from the back of the auditorium at the university.

Dad loved singing Eastern Orthodox liturgy which requires such super-deep bass voices. His voice was sought by conductors and he sometimes was a member of two or three choirs at the same time. He sang in church (and I joined him a couple of times as I can read music from a sheet), but also traveled around the world, cut records, sang on stage in opera choruses, etc.

Of course, over the decades of singing he made friends. The guys in his choir section - with equally incredibly deep voices - were his lifelong best friends. So, every now and then they'd come for dinner. After they ate, they'd each pick up one of my 3-4 guitars and start singing. Songs like "Go down Moses", "Long White Robe" and "Born under the Wandering Star" and yes, "Sixteen tons". The whole house was booming and shaking (and that was a 64-appartments building) and all the neighbors could feel it if not hear it.

My voice is deep, but not like his. Also, unlike my Dad, I never studied how to sing properly (perhaps I can watch Geoff's videos on techniques of singing deep). I was, for many years, invited to all the parties to bring my guitar and sing. But how I wish I could sing the way he could. He died in 2003, and mom died last month (her 89 birthday would have been tomorrow). So these songs make me sad and nostalgic....

For more bass try out Home Free's Tim Foust with Peter Hollens singing Misty Mountains from The Hobbit. Then for just plain fun there is Home Free's cover of Hillbilly Bone.

I reacted the same, I was instantly in love, that low low voice and he's so hunky

I'm kinda glad you started with this one. As others have said, Geoff has a much larger range than what he showed here, but he'll often use different vocal techniques to reach those extended notes (his favorite being subharmonics). This one is just straight up chest voice the whole time. So now that you've seen what he can do without any fancy techniques, I think you'll be better prepared for the otherworldly performances he's given that take advantage of his full arsenal.

Geoff's got range. Need to hear his cover of Take Me Country Roads and The Beatles Black Bird. I fell in love with his voice the first time I heard this song. I loved it when Tennessee Ernie Ford sang it. He's the bass of the group VoicePlay. They are amazing.

What's really great are his teaching videos on how to sing bass. He makes it so easy to gain access to your lower registers. He is a total class act!

Another amazing base singer is Tim Foust of the acapella group "Home Free"
