Can't believe 2013 Video is more clear and understandable than what is out there currently. Thank you I finally understand how to use this fancy technology :D . Been looking around documentation videos pretty much everything its either extremely over complicated for no reason what so ever, and this at least explains it well beyond anyone else not sure why there is so much hate with dislikes and hateful. This is the best thing that has happened to me sitting and reading and testing out everything this works good with almost anything Modern opengl or legacy either way good. As well this helps you set the position of the element to the Object as well following it and maybe displaying its Stats such as the position of the object or such alike. Awesome, keep making videos please !

I realise this video is incredibly old...but just come across it. I am trying to get text to appear in an openGL window and I followed the steps here. There are no errors within my code showing up and visual studio makes no complaints in general about what I have done.

However when I run the application it gets to the point in the program where it runs this code and then it just shuts everything down saying:

The program '[152] ConsoleApplication2.exe' has exited with code 1 (0x1).

Which I assume means that there is some code within the OpenGL functions that if there is an error to exit with code 1 (as opposed to 0, as it would had the program reached the end line) I just can't find anything anywhere that explains why this is the case?

Without this text code I can open a window and display several squares and I can even receive input from the keyboard and mouse without any error, it is only text that seems to cause it to exit this way?

It's a punt, but wondered if you knew what might cause it to exit this way?
