Malice is such a fantastic book and the series is amazing. There are four books in the Faithful and the Fallen series but he wrote three more books in the same world that take place after the first four. Definitely worth reading all seven.

Random fun fact I recently learned about Robert Louis Stevenson -- I worked for a food tour (pre-COVID) and we did a haunted Halloween tour last year, and I found out that Robert Louis Stevenson lived out here in Monterey and there's an old French Hotel that's now known as the Robert Louis Stevenson House, and it's apparently really haunted. I've never been inside, but I have been in the gardens, and I'm pretty sure he wrote this book either right before, during, or right after he lived here. But it's also said that he based Treasure Island off of one of the coves out here. I hope you enjoy that read! I read it before I hosted the tour after I found out that little fact, and it's a good one :)
