when browsing for books to read, i always look for book reviews. that is why i bring you an october TBR that quickly turned into a very chatty video about the books i want to read this month, me making a TBR jar and cart, and losing my mind over some of the new book releases of 2023. booktube and tiktok have buzzed about these books… let’s see if i’ll enjoy them! i hope you guys enjoy this one and come out with one more book to add to your TBR and some good book recommendations for 2023!

This is the first time I've watched any of your videos and I love how giggly you are. It's my energy for sure. Really fun to watch. Elizabeth Acevedo is one of my favourite authors as well but I haven't read Family Lore yet either. I'm excited for it. My books this month all feature witches since I pulled them all off my shelves and there were like 11 of them hahaha.

The She Was Gone was definitely wild! i think it could be hit or miss but i really enjoyed it.

Elizabeth Acevedo is one of my favorite authors but i haven’t heard great things about Family Lore so i’m really nervous about picking it up even though i got it as soon as it came out. looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Yeah I don't like the Chestnut Springs covers either. I've only read Flawless, but I am excited to continue the series.

But bestie, you have to read Flawless and Heartless first to lead up to Powerless. You get glimpses of Jasper and Sloane from those books and it builds up the anticipation for them bc they're friends to lovers. Right now Im currently on the 4th book Reckless but by far my favorite from the series so far is Heartless!! Cade and Willa have my heart!!
