Breaking the Japanese Naval Code, JN25, was crucial to winning the war in the Pacific during World War II. Commander Joseph Rochefort, the cryptologist in charge of cryptologic operations at Station Hypo at Pearl Harbor, found the answer in a simple Japanese code, AF. The result was the greatest nautical ambush in the history of naval warfare and a complete U.S. victory.

You guys made a really good podcast of different topics 👌👍 but if you guys would also do a topic that has to do in the future, because NSA is so gigantically important to the world and Defense and personally, I think NSA should be at the top with leading for protecting Military and protecting countries🛡🛡 NSA should become 1 big umbrella organization helping other countries and together 1 strong organization without a weak link. Then at least the good people and the good countries will at least have a safe future. Greetings from the Netherlands 🧡🔱🦅⚡🧡 and Semper Fidelie 💎🥇💎

IJN lost four, not three carriers, plus irreplaceable aircraft maintenance crews, also many seasoned pilots. Also one or two heavy cruisers. Video is a short intro, please correct above.

Funny to see a picture of F4U Corsairs on the start of the video, which weren't used in that battle.
It made it's debut off Guadalcanal.
