Neighbourhood Crow Swoops At Woman

Luke and Tiffany Markovich, 31, were coming home to Sheffield Village, Ohio, when they crossed paths with the neighbourhood crow.

Over the past few days the crow had attacked several neighbours, including a young boy.

After perching on their roof by the door, they attempted to enter, only for the crow to swoop at Tiffany.

Thankfully, after finally getting away, Tiffany came out of it with no injuries and she was alright afterwards.

Crows are highly intelligent. That is not random. Could have been something innocent but she in particular did something to really piss that crow off.

I feed crows throughout my neighborhood and once they got upset at me because close to where I live some people were doing a home renovation and cut down a tree probably killing a nestling. Just today I was divebombed by over a dozen for several blocks and they generally reside in a park where I had fed them for some time. I later saw the remains of what was probably a fledging on the street, a victim of a hawk or falcon most likely. This Crow is hypervigilant because it's young is probably extremely close by or she did something to make it upset. They are intelligent and there are reasons for their behavior.

I wonder what these people did to this Crow to make it hate them so much! Running a Crow rescue/rehabilitation center for over 10 years, I KNOW that this is NOT usual Crow behavior. This woman SURLEY must have done something bad to the Crow or to one of it's family members (probably it's baby) to make it so defensive... Crows only hold grudges towards people who are dangerous to them and their family...
