iPhone 6S Plus Teardown Review

Last year Apple embraced the “bigger is better” trend with the release of their 6 Plus. This year the “S” series got an upgraded processor and motion coprocessor, as well as an improved Touch ID sensor and the addition of 3D Touch—among other things. Of course, we had to get our hands on an iPhone 6s Plus as soon as possible. So we sent a crew to Australia to grab the phone early. Without further ado, let’s tear this sucker down.

I don't think the pentalobe screws can be counted as a downside anymore. They've had them for so long and most repair parts of any kind wherever you get them come with a screwdriver for them for next to nothing so it's not really an issue

Soo I have a question that I got after seeing the comparison between the iPhone 6s camera and the 6s Plus..
Is it possible to plug in the camera from the 6s Plus into the 6s Motherboard?
And if it does, will the software actually recognize it and will it work?

If this is a thing, then you could swap the camera's (with a little bit of modding the case I think) and have OIS on the 6s, right?

WHY THE TAPTIC ENGINE ON THE 6S PLUS IS SMALLER THAN THE ONE FOUND ON THE 6S??

why is the tactic engine smaller in the 6s plus? why wouldn't they just implement the same size engine in the smaller model to increase battery size?

I got questions. Could you put in the battery from the past iPhone 6/ 6 Plus into the 6S/6S Plus?
Also, could you place the camera from the 6S Plus into the 6S

I don't understand why the 6S has Samsung ram and Toshiba flash storage, and the 6S Plus uses a not so well known brand.

SKhynix 16GB nand flash. Possible to desolder it? and replace it with a 128GB or 256GB?

Looks easy enough to fix. Won't have to spend tons of money on a repair shop that will most likely use shoddy parts.
