To get a 'Tommyfied' version of this iconic tune is nothing short of an early Christmas present to his legions of fans. We're a fickle, judgmental lot, let's be real here. If JIM STEINMAN were alive I'm sure he would have chosen you for his songs and he would have composed new songs especially for you. The original version was programmed into us and it is the only one accepted by our mind and body …until today. Yes, this song was epic as it is. But you took it to another level of epicness . Honestly, I’ve never heard any of your work before, but I’m crazy about Meat Loaf. A huge part of Meat was his emotion behind his performances and you actually capture energy in this. A lot of times you hear a cover, and sure it might be sung well, but it still lacks emotion, which makes it not great. This cover lacks nothing! This is honestly really stunning. You’re incredibly talented.

Considering Tommy said he'd never play this "I will play anything you want but I won't play that" this is sheer magnificence! Beautifully bombastic and a wonderful tribute to the big man we lost nearly two years ago. Hopefully for the second anniversary of Meats passing Tommy might like to mark the occasion by singing something about lying at the bottom of a pit in the blazing sun. We all know it and we all want it and Tommy is the only one who can give it to us.😊
