So glad I found the Drinkmate out before I head to Walmart for the Sodastream. This can carbonate my ice tea, OJ. etc while the other only do water and add their chemical-ful syrup.

Can the infusion cap attach to other bottles or does it HAVE to go to the drinkmate bottle?

For example, lets say I have an empty Pepsi bottle that I mix syrups into, can I add the cap right to the bottle or does it need to be in the drinkmate bottle

when it comes to things like soda stream cherry cola syrup flavour should i add the syrup to the water before or after carbonating the water?

I only filled half of the bottle with no pulp orange juice and gave 3 short bursts on carbonation button. It did not even make the hissing sound but after I swished it, it foamed up in the bottle and started shooting out the top of the bottle. I had to put the bottle outside as was making a mess and unsure what would happen next. Was finally able to press the pressure release button. Please explain what I did wrong?

Can you put carbonated drinks in the mixing bottle for instance I want to do a whiskey highball just whiskey and soda water will that still work or would you recommend using still water
