Hi! I feel like summer is here. This piece is the 3rd movement of Summer in Vivaldi’s four seasons. It is called “Storm”. You would be able to feel that this piece evokes a thunderstorm. There is no sheet music for this arrangement. This arrangement is technically difficult to play. If lots of people want the sheet music, I will make and upload it like Winter. I am not experienced at all... but it is the first time I see a piece where you need to play the same note with two fingers. Insanely beautiful. Kassia, you are a pleasure to listen to. The piece itself is so powerful, you feel the storm and its power but also the lightness and warmth of the summer sun peaking through every now and then.

Summer is not always sunny and hot, this Piece is the Fury of a Storm converted into beautiful sounds; a storm - “Tempesta” in Italian - that you managed to embody in your performance! Languishes man, languishes the flock and burns the pine
We hear the cuckoo's voice;
then sweet songs of the turtledove and finch are heard.
Soft breezes stir the air, but threatening
the North Wind sweeps them suddenly aside.
The shepherd trembles,
fearing violent storms and his fate.


Adagio e piano – Presto e forte :
The fear of lightning and fierce thunder
Robs his tired limbs of rest
As gnats and flies buzz furiously around.


Presto (the movement Kassia plays in this video) :
Alas, his fears were justified
The Heavens thunder and roar and with hail
Cut the head off the wheat and damages the grain.

That arrangement is fiendishly difficult, repeated notes using both hands and those jumps in the right hand at the same time... Vivaldi was never meant for piano as you can see.
