Cem Karaca & Dervişan - Tamirci Çırağı (1975)

Показать описание
Cem Karaca formed the band Dervişan in 1974. The band was active until 1977 and during these 3 short years, the band went through several line-up changes. Many experienced musicians, such as Uğur Dikmen, Ünol Büyükgönenç, Murat Ses and Taner Öngür were among the band’s members. Dervişan were a progressive rock band largely known for their political works, which were, in fact, arguably Cem Karaca’s most political songs throughout his long career. The band released Tamirci Çırağı / Nerdesin in 1975 via Yavuz Plak. Tamirci Çırağı was a perfect example of Karaca’s political stance and it cemented him as a musical hero among the leftists during the 70’s. The song still stands as one of the centrepieces of Anatolian rock.
