Beaverton, OR: Using Asset Management to Effectively Assess, Monitor, and Improve ADA Curb Ramps

In 2018, the City of Beaverton conducted a comprehensive self-evaluation to update its 1995 Transition Plan. One aspect of the plan is maintaining and upgrading over 6,000 curb ramps. To manage this process, the city utilized Cityworks Office for AMS and Cityworks mobile apps. More recently, the city started exploring the benefits of an Esri Operations Dashboard for quick program insight and reporting. These solutions are helping the city assess and upgrade each ramp, while meeting budgetary and forecasting requirements.
