I was an extra in this movie! I'm one of the kids playin in the balls, behind him after he goes down the slide. It was filmed at the Mall of America. It was literally an all day shoot but it was super easy, barely an inconvenience! 😁

In Latin America this movie is called "the promised gift", must be the only "translated" title that makes more sense in Spanish.

I’m surprised he didn’t bring up the moment that has confounded me my whole life; when Myron shoots his fist at Howard like a projectile. And it comes back and is just back to being his hand. Like it seems like it must be a fake hand on the suit, but it reattaches and he makes a mocking gesture with it like it didn’t just come all the way off.

I have to admit Jingle All the Way is my holiday guilty pleasure. You nailed it but I still watch it every year.

i watched this movie as kid and it has really catchy hindi title 'khilone ki chahat bani papa ki afat ' . which translate in english as ' desire for toy results into trouble for daddy ' and i love this movie and it is not awful.

If this movie was called Dashing Through The Snow, I think it would make more sense than Jingle All The Way

I worked in a Walmart toy department when this movie was released. The irony is they shipped boxes of the toy from the movie, thinking it would be a hot seller due to the movie. Nope. No one wanted it, so there were so many left. Of course, they were placed on a heavy clearance markdown.
