📡 Carbon Based Lifeforms (CBL) are Johannes Hedberg and Daniel Segerstad (né Ringström), both born in 1976 and based in Göteborg, south-west Sweden. They met when both 15 and are still, amazingly, working happily together, over 20 years later.

Even before this, 1996's "The Path" is their unreleased and highly sought-after demo that any listeners fortunate to hear the contents will immediately recognise as the genesis of the group's unique sound.

Its an absolute masterpiece! I will never understand people listening to commercial top 40 music when you have something produced like this which is far superior. Lyrics can never be an equivalent to an amazing melody. Maybe its better this is not commercial... it means more if you find music like this

I am an old man, and I have been dreaming about space travel since before most of you were born. I agree with you, and it is a deeply emotional subject for me. Sometimes I go to the sites of NASA or the ESA and what I see there brings happy tears to my eyes. That may sound silly and I may be the only one doing it, but I can't help it because it feels so good to see my childhood dreams coming true. The inspiration of music is part of it- keep up the good work.

You are not the only one watching his childhood dreams come true. I was old enough that dad took me out and showed me Sputnik. I watched Apollo 11 on our Dumont TV. My wife and I cried when we saw the first shuttle landing in California. We cried again when the Challenger met her end. I still thrill to see the rovers on Mars, the landing of Huygens on Titan, and the other missions. As you also say - this music brings those feelings to my heart as well.

This is pure bliss. A trip deep in space surrounded by void. It's crazy what impact music can have on the brain. These guys must be friends with Vibrapshere guys. Whoever likes this music must know Vibrasphere as well. They are also gods.
