I do all of this on my chopsaw and my internals and externals are like uncle bens .... perfect results everytime... this is a good video nice set plumb square and flat finish... in the real world of home decor its not that perfect but when you practice your methods you can purrfect your method to a tee...

I fail to understand the need for the angle or drawing lines on the ceiling, you're cutting at 45 degrees anyway without taking either the ceiling lines or whatever angle you were measuring.
But reading the comments i see i went wrong by cutting it flat in the mitre box and not angled! Gonna give that a go now!

Can you explain how the corners are supposed to mate up when cut in a mitre box? Corner cuts must be angled in 2 different planes to give correct profile.A simple 45 degree cut does not work.Yet the video shows corner aligning perfectly after a simple 45 degree cut in mitre box?

is this the same method you would use for standard 127mm plasterboard coving?

Walls are not perfect, I use a angle finder and use my miter saw but you can draw lines on walls and link the 2 together

Watching this does not help! You need instruction.

Not really very helpful, just visual and way too fast
