Something that I use in ow2 is in the settings there’s an option to hear a noise every time a teammate dies and every time an enemy dies, very useful

Mistake number 1: Expecting your teammates to ever help you.

No matter what the objective is, always regroup. People just keep jumping into 5 enemies, and thinking that they will clear everything by themselves. And they always pick the same road, where enemies place their reticle.

As a new player, it's mind boggling to realize how long it's going to take to be able to not only recognize who other characters are, but their strength and weaknesses to be able to counter and stuff.

One thing alot of people I've notice get distracted by is that Overwatch is an Objective based game. I've played too many games where people are trying to get kills and forget there is an objective which cause them to lose. Also this idea that your support needs to be purely healing limits what your team can do. Alot of support characters have some of the strongest ults and abilities to win you fights outright.

Just remember you are trying to force mistakes to win fights to make the objective easier to do.

Famous last word: "I need to end on a win"

Also.. no matter what happens be the one that calls out and make sure u give valuable information even if ur team doesnt speak but at least they are in voice. Its better one of the team to speak rather than no one, at least u get to know if someone is behind or whats your intentions and what u wanna do in the fight so ur team at least prepare

About picking a character your not good at.
I was playing on Ruins to practice my widowmaker and the other teams Lucio made it his life's purpose to hunt me down. He constantly patrolled the back line to look for me. 3 out of 4 times he won the solo cause my aim is bad at close range. His team ended up losing the match because they were essentially down 1 healer for the entire match. Losing 1 healer to get rid of a crappy sniper is not a fair trade :P

On that poin 6 i have "funny" story, i play Overwatch from his relese ( 1 ok ), and 3 or 4 days back i think, ,man I have really have bad aim... I play this game for years, why I just dont play better and dont just enjoy game and focus on help team get their best" and it is just snap, I start predict enemy move i start hold my cross/dot/circle on them and shoot head(or heal as Anna), I start enjoy game again, use more mic even nobody of my team mate use and dont care about win but I start win more :D and found less toxic team mate, guys just try br positiv to your team. Some times you must say yourself you can do this. This sound like really stupid think and I hate people what just say "belive in your self and you can do this" but this is what happend soo some times this really work (but really really some times).

1.Join voice chat even if you don’t speak, valuable callouts might be made.
2. Play WITH your team
3.OBJECTIVE

“Try to figure out what you could have done wrong”

Tell that to the 29 zero-kill games I just had in a row…. My team had 0 kills to be clear. Theirs had plenty

this is something alot of people i played with didnt understand when i told them i was exhausted. I was mentally drained most times since the game makes me think since my team sometimes doesnt lol

I play near competitive COD and dabble in OW. The biggest thing I see since f2p is players who have no idea how to play basic fps. Group up, keep moving, go for headshots, change hero depending on situation, and most of all learn from losses and mistakes. Most players charge Rambo style, die, blame everyone and the leave. 😂. That’s the meta

I've been playing since ow1, and the main mistake I see people make is overpushing, they just forget the payload or point and just rush into enemy lines without healers. (yes, i'm looking at you genji mains)

Staggering is the one I see most common in unranked/low ranks. Always ends poorly

Mistake number 0: trusting your teammates playing their roles

My biggest problems are not being able to work as a team and failing to position or properly read the game, I have trouble keeping track of cooldowns used or good/bad situations, but I can always notice when I’m making these mistakes, maybe my brain is just oddly wired
