*RARE LOST GEM* Led Zeppelin: For Your Love (Yardbirds Cover)

preview_player
Показать описание
Zep's version of the hit Yardbirds single, which has a Lemon Song-like groove to it, as well as a classic Jimmy Page riff and solo. Also the only known recording of this version, so sorry if the quality is less than what you hoped.

No copyright infringement intended. This music belongs to The Yardbirds and its band members.

As a naive 12 yo fan in 1972, I sent a fan-letter to the band. Always the class-act, they sent back the most magnificent theater advert-posters announcing of one of these pre LZ I gig's possibly in Sweden. Art-work was amazing and it must have been at least one-meter in height. I gave it to my friend who was a JPJ fanatic. Wish I hadn't now! Awesome post! Thank you.

Never apologise about quality. The uploads are a joy regardless. 👍🏻

I can't believe a recording of the "New Yardbirds" even exists! I am relishing every second of this Zep candy. It sounds like it would have fit perfectly on Led Zeppelin I. Thank you for finding and sharing this with us!

Early Zeppelin was raw, rocking and sexy. JP’s playing was filthy

I've always been inspired by the first concert picture. Something about how close the crowd is and how much fun/ambition radiates from their expressions, really makes me feel like making my own music.

How can anyone hate this recording?! Seriously, it's a great performance by the band and a great recording.

Jimmy’s playing sounds a lot like Jimi’s playing, it has a mirror reflection of Somewhere by Jimi Hendrix🤟🤟🤟 this is awesome👌🔥🔥

What a cool reworking of the song!
It has a "Hey Joe" feel to it.
This is Zeppelin going into new territory they had not yet gone into. Very slinky.

Thank you for your channel! I've been looking for more Led Zeppelin bootlegs and this is the jackpot. I made an album out of all the bootleg tracks that I've previously been able to find and now I need to add a lot more to my collection thanks to you!

I see potential in this band. If they practice a couple of hours everyday they may someday make it big!
