I have a tiny hole in the shower floor…

Do I need to use the fiberglass fabric or just the resin and hardener?

The hole is less than the size of a pea.

I am searching the YouTube videos to see if I can use something other than fiberglass to patch a boat keel on the inside.

I saw a video where someone used just resin hardener, no cloth, as an undercoat treatment for their lawn mower deck.
How well does it stick to painted metal?

I built a boat out of plywood, used the stitch and glue method then used 6 oz cloth inside and out with marine epoxy it came out nice. All that being said, I have a gallon of Bondo fiberglass resin and am thinking of doing some fairly large patching on some seams and an a.c.shroud like ur video.Ive read that the epoxy is superior in almost every way over the fiberglass resin, any thoughts on that?I'm comfortable with applying the epoxy and would use it but I have a gallon of the Bondo fiberglass resin That is begging to be used.Im throw down cloth too, I just don't want a giant abortion when I'm done.

I have this hammer/axe weird multi tool that had this horrible handle. It was a steel tang with rickety wood fastened on both sides. Trouble is if you held it, your skin would get pinched between the wood planks in the steel tang. To make it more useable I lathered Bondo body filler on it and sanded smooth. Now it’s nice to hold but a friend pointed out that the Bondo might break off. So I will try 3 layers of fiberglass and resin on the handle. That should strengthen it and make it water resistant as well.

It is my understanding that Using pinking shears will help with the fraying edges.

I always think fiber glass would be as bad as asbestos? You breath in small sharp fibers.
