as a greek cypriot personally, i welcome my turkish cypriot brothers with open arms. i wish it was that simple... as i am very young and didnt experience the war it is easy for me to accept peace but in my brutal opinion the only way for us to reconiciliate is to first allow nationalism to die out and the older generation to die as they are the ones who will be stubborn (i cannot blame them but i still disagree in the blatant racism that im seeing)

Turkey will never remove the occupation army, because it is not a normal country, a s things stand. If and when the Turkish elite (kemalist islamist, it doesnt matter) then we may see peace in the area

So dont hate me but this how I think,
They should both just regocnize their Independence and have open borders with in their states for the cypriot people to move around their island. Both states should work together to work on issues.
