Hugely recommend Soma, even for people who aren’t hugely into horror. It will break your brain and make you question everything you know about what a person is. It’s so good. And so underrated. In my top 5 games of all time, for sure.

Shadow of the Colossus was quite possibly the most influential game in my life. If you haven't played it, PLEASE check it out via either the PS2 original, the PS3 remaster, or the PS4 remake. It's such a beautiful game that sticks with you long after playing it

Great list. Outer Wilds, for me, even after decades of gaming, became one of the most memorable games. The second I hear music from the game I remember where I was exploring at the time and how much I enjoyed it. There were a couple of games on here that I wasn't aware of and it sounds like they're worth a try.

If you haven't already you should really play What Remains of Edith Finch. A masterpiece in storytelling and narrative!

Grounded is the one game i wish i could forget and play all over again for the first time. The discovery, mystery, and sense of wonder reminded me of what i felt playing games as a kid

My most unforgettable first time gaming experiences are Metal Gear Solid, ME trilogy, Skyrim, TLOU 1 and 2, RDR 2, Prey, Death Stranding, Cyberpunk 2077. Bloodborne, and the more recent Elden Ring which blew me away during my 200 plus hour 1st playthrough. Gaming is art.

Prey is my favorite game experience ever. There are so many great ones but Prey's atmosphere and locations were just perfection. I went in blind and was kinda board at first which made it so exciting when I realized I was actually playing an incredible game.

That first mission in Death Stranding when you finally head out for your first time and all of a sudden the camera pulls way out and the music kicks in....EPIC!
