Nice. Very few people do videos for installing marine hardware :) I'm also about to do this Raymarine autopilot install and I might do a video of it. I noticed couple of things in your install. Fittings and threads should be the right kind BSP or NPT and sealed either by washers or Teflon tape (not thread locker). If the thread tapers you have to use Teflon tape. The pump part uses BSP and there you need washers. I had custom 100R7 hydraulic lines made with BSP threads and made of acid proof stainless steel (A4). Also the long loops of hydraulic hose made the bleed procedure harder for you. Another thing is the location of the EV1 sensor. It should be 1m (3ft) from anything electronic/metall. I'm not so sure about the location next to your plotter...

Nice slow how-to!!! I installed the same autopilot and I’m ready to purge and fill w/fluid. To clarify, did you use the autopilot pump to fill the autopilot lines and then, use the steering wheel pump to purge the main steering lines downstream to the motor? Did you open the steering cylinder drains while running the autopilot hydraulic pump? Just not sure of the best way to fill the autopilot and refill the steering.

Two questions, why didn't you install the sensor inside the helm?

Also, did you have any issues installing the sensor so close to the fish finder?

How does it work so far on the water? I like to buy EV-100 but the package has hydraulic pump between 50 cc and 110 cc. My Baystar hydaulic steering has 118 cc. so EV100 may handle my Johnson 90 hp but with limit. So, debating whether to get EV-150
