Android fans: I can do so much with my android. Have so much customization(never does anything or use it)
iPhone fans: my phone is faster than yours. iPhone camera is better(doesn't even take a lot of pictures or notices speed)
I've had both iPhone & android flagships. What both of the fans brag about is things I never notice or do. I currently have a 6+ & galaxy on5 & both Samsung & apple are good. Why argue in the comments? Lmao

is because iOS and its apps are more optimized because there are only a limited number of phones using iOS ( only Apple products), while apps for android are developed for a broader range of devices and therefore are less optimized

The reason why the Galaxy gets crushed in games and the video processing is because of the architecture that they use.

-Samsung goes for low single processing power many cores - increasing efficiency and battery performance.
-Apple goes for high processing speeds few core - increasing speed on apps that use few cores.

This means that apps that use up to four cores perform better on the iphone while the s8 can only use half its cores decreasing its performance drastically. With apps that use even less cores the iphone gets a larger advantage.

Also when it comes to RAM management Apple have found a way to reduce the file size of apps to around 25% of its original size without hindering loading. This allows it to save more apps than any android phone while all android phones keep the app to around 90% of its original size in the background (essentially keeping the app fully open).
So in order for android to catch up on loading background apps they all need much larger RAM than Apple does.

Single Core performance still matters the most! Even most PC Games and Applications don't typically run faster or have higher frame rates on a faster 8 core vs 4 core as Ryzen 7 tests prove. If apps took full advantage of the 8 core CPU this result would be different. However, Apple does have better RAM management regardless.
