I have the HD6 and S8 wireless subwoofer connected to my desktop. I was undecided between the HD4 and HD6. I decided to go with the HD6 because I watch movies and listen to Spotify and other streaming services. I wanted a speaker that could fill a room or provide an easy listening experience. The mids are balanced and the bass from the subwoofer is perfect.

I'm really not sure who would be comparing the HD3 with the HD6, frankly. It's pretty obvious that they're for different use cases. What I would be more interested in is a comparison between the HD5 and the HD6, but I haven't found a single comparison video here. The question we'd be trying to answer would be, do you "need" what the HD6 offers, particularly if you are pairing it with a subwoofer? Or perhaps does the HD6 let you get away without a subwoofer in some cases?
Also the test music here was not really showing me a lot of range of what the speakers can do. In the future you might try known-good recordings of acoustic instruments and voice, rather than a highly engineered studio production. One man's opinion!

HD6s feel more complete and can hit deeper... i guess that due to the size of driver and power capabilities!

I have the HD3s and just ordered the HD6s, but your vid has me doubting my decision. The HD6s sound muddier.

Yes, it could be your testing setup ... but damn.

If anyone wants to make HD3 sounds warmer and more beautiful when relaxing, just buy Mojo 2 DAC.
Almost like 100% be a different speakers
