I lived in Germany nineteen years from 1984-2004. I got my citizenship in 1997 and moved to UK with my family. That time many people got the citizenship easily. Danke schön.

Am enjoying the vibe here
Looking Beautiful
So much vibe here
I like the fact that is not up to 10years before someone can apply, in most countries is even more than 10years before one can apply for Citizenship

I am a white, german male and I personaly think that black people can be germans and I would love to see more diversity in our society. But I am also aware of the fact that it can be hard for non whites, because of racism and ignorance. Sadly Europe hasn't overcome racism yet (and is currently heading in the wrong direction). But hopfully it will be overcome by future generations.

I actually live in Baden-Württemberg, just very close to where you mentioned.
U made wonderful points and all what you said are true but there are few things that people have to know.

Yes when you are married to a German citizen, weather the person from Africa etc and u have to live with the person for 3 years.

2 years are for those who came in as students etc, those who have already documents and got married.

If you came in as an asylum seeker and got married, then it has to be 3 years and your partner have to sign.

If he or she refused to sign, then you won't get it.
Another problem is that you can marry for example January first 2021 and starts living with your partner.

But they might delayed in giving you the first document like months, years etc.
All those months you spent together with the man or woman, will not be counted.
That 3 years etc start from the day you were given the first document.

Anyway if you are able to live 3 years together and eventually got separated or divorced, then you can still get the passport in 7 to 8 years, depending on the city with language level of B1 and politics in Germany.

If you have B2 or what they call Ausbildung, then you can get in 6 years, hence you are working and must have worked 5 years even with RENTE, Pension money and of course crime free.

The same goes to those who have kids with someone who have good document.

That you Live in Germany for 10 years etc is never a guarantee that you will get the documents, hence you did not met up with their requirements.

Like through education, not just mere language courses.
Through marriage, having kids, expatriates, researchers, humanitarian, terminal sicknesses.
