Is the CFA Worth It?

Показать описание
Fifteen years ago, I pondered the same question before starting CFA Level 1. Instead of a direct answer, let's consider key factors.
The CFA requires significant time and effort—over 1,000 hours across four years, with costs ranging from $3,000 to $8,000. While it can enhance career prospects, especially for portfolio managers, it's not a guaranteed path to success.
Many find value in the knowledge and skills gained, but it's important to align the CFA with your career goals.
According to latest analysis of CFA salary data:
• CFA candidates who passed Level 2 saw a 34% increase in total compensation.
• Those who passed Level 3 or are charterholders earned 53% more than those yet to pass Level 1.
• In 2022, candidates who passed Level 1 saw a 28% increase in total compensation, up from 16% in 2021, indicating an earlier payback for CFA progression.
Can the CFA help people switch careers or land a new job? In short, the CFA charter alone won’t change your career, but it becomes powerful when combined with solid networking and diligent job hunting.
Will AI replace the need for CFA charterholders?
And the answer is: not likely. While AI language models like ChatGPT have impressive capabilities, they cannot replace the tasks performed by CFA charterholders.
We’ll continue to share tutorial videos to help you on your journey to landing your dream job. Please 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲, 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟯𝟲𝟱 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹 if you find this video helpful.
