I was picking up the 62 BT7 from storage when the clutch pedal went straight to the floor! Clearance in an Austin Healey 3000 is a little tight unless you remove the tunnel, but it's possible to do (which bodes well for BJ8 Healeys since taking the console out is a lot of extra work). Here's some tips on how to get the job done!

Hi. I have exactly the same model. We fit a braided pipe to the bleed screw outlet and route it back down so it is accesible. I have seen one car with copper pipe from the bleed screw hole up into the engine bay with the bleed screw on top.Lovely model healey.

There's that tidbit comment again. ("Disconnect the battery on these too")
I m the 75TR6 on an edge of the continent. Twilling sound began with slight, minimal pressure on clutch pedal. Now a few months later, its very pronounced, maybe even shrill, and continuous through clutch engagement. Was hoping it was clutch cylinder, fearing it's may be related to the bearing engaging the plate. Is there a " America, it sounds like this " compilation video?. Good video . Thx much

I have an Austin Healey 3000mk3. The clutch suddenly went to floor with no resistance. Found that rod had come loose, I think from the master clutch cylinder. Can I reattach it, or do I have to replace the cylinder? Do you have a video on such a project?
